Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for 2026 technology deployments
- Lead research on bias mitigation in large language models and autonomous systems
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations into AI development lifecycles
- Author industry whitepapers on AI ethics standards and regulatory compliance
- Develop training programs for engineers on responsible AI implementation
- Partner with policymakers to shape future AI legislation and ethical guidelines
- Manage a team of AI ethics researchers and data scientists
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with 10+ years experience)
- 5+ years researching AI ethics, algorithmic fairness, or responsible AI
- Published work in top-tier AI ethics or machine learning conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Experience with EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, or similar regulatory frameworks
- Strong background in statistical bias detection and mitigation techniques
- Expertise in developing ethical AI evaluation metrics and testing protocols
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex ethical concepts to diverse audiences
