Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Partner with product teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research for strategic IP development
- Present future-vision frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental projects
- Establish KPIs for measuring 2026 readiness across organizational functions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with proven 5-year horizon planning
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Executive-level experience presenting future visions to investors
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (white papers, patents, keynotes)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech innovation implementation
- Proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Experience scaling experimental technologies to enterprise level
