Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and research teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups to accelerate R&D
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product development, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record in anticipating and capitalizing on paradigm shifts
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong financial modeling and business case development skills
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
