Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps spanning AI ethics, sustainable tech, and human-machine augmentation
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists through agile development cycles
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA to pioneer emerging technologies
- Present disruptive concepts to C-suite executives and investor boards for funding decisions
- Monitor global tech trends and geopolitical shifts to identify emerging opportunities
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations with our IP legal team
- Champion sustainable and inclusive design principles in all development processes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech leadership with proven track record in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least two of: generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation grants or venture capital
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning techniques
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
