As a key architect of our 2026 vision, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to identify emerging paradigms, validate disruptive opportunities, and accelerate the development of market-defining solutions. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of technological possibility and human-centric design.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology innovation roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Partner with product teams to integrate 2026-vision capabilities into commercial roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Present strategic foresight to investors, board members, and industry consortia
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with rigorous ROI optimization
- Curate an external ecosystem of startups, academia, and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futures research
- Proven track record launching technologies with 3-5 year impact horizons
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, AR/VR)
- Strong background in agile development and rapid prototyping methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Futures Studies)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or commercialized innovations
- Certification in futures research or innovation management preferred
