Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Analyze emerging trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for Fortune 500 partners
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Drive patent portfolio development in frontier technologies
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic innovation or technology leadership role
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AI)
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation grants or partnerships
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
