Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Innovation Strategy, aligning with exponential technology trends
- Lead ideation workshops for quantum-AI-bio convergence applications
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and DARPA-equivalent programs
- Present foresight findings to C-suite and Board of Directors quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Oversee patent development for 15+ emerging technology domains
- Mentor a team of 8 futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in exponential technology commercialization
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFM) required
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($5M+)
- Fluency in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
