Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and societal trends to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized systems)
- Lead innovation sprints with engineering and product teams to prototype future solutions
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and emerging tech startups
- Design and implement corporate foresight methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking techniques and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing future-focused roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, climate tech, neurotech, or space commercialization
- Strong data modeling skills with proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Gartner, Forrester)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (whitepapers, journals)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
