Responsibilities
- Forecast and document paradigm-shifting technologies through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop innovation roadmaps for quantum-integrated AI and neuro-interfaces
- Lead speculative design workshops with C-suite executives and venture partners
- Author white papers on societal impacts of autonomous systems and synthetic biology
- Manage incubation of 3-5 moonshot projects annually with $2M+ budgets
- Represent Nexus at Davos, SXSW, and global futurist summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent interdisciplinary expertise
- 10+ years in R&D, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Published work in IEEE Spectrum, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Proficiency in trend-mapping tools (Gartner, Forrester, custom ML models)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercialized future-tech concepts
- Security clearance for quantum computing access (TS/SCI preferred)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
