Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global trends impacting 2026+ technological, social, and economic landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies including quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on future-proofing organizational structures
- Produce white papers and thought leadership on disruptive innovations and their societal implications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-generation solutions
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies to identify emerging opportunities and threats
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, nanotech) and their convergence
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (journal articles, books, keynotes)
- Experience with data-driven trend analysis tools and futures research methodologies
