Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators, technological convergence patterns, and regulatory landscapes through 2026 lens
- Develop horizon-scanning frameworks using AI-driven trend modeling and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Author quarterly '2026 Vision Briefs' for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and future-focused think tanks
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning Platform, Trend Hunter)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical narratives to non-technical audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS) strongly preferred
