As a key member of our Future Labs division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, AI pioneers, and sustainability experts to develop predictive frameworks for emerging technologies. Your insights will directly influence multi-billion-dollar product roadmaps and shape industry standards for the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Develop predictive technology roadmaps for 2026+ applications in quantum computing, biotechnology, and AI ethics
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation strategies with market trends
- Produce horizon-scanning reports on disruptive technologies with 3-5 year impact assessments
- Design and implement scenario-planning frameworks for global tech adoption curves
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and evaluate emerging startups in strategic domains
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and other future-focused global forums
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Innovation Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Future Studies with 5+ years applied research
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature, Science, or IEEE Futures journals
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Strong network connections with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, or similar institutions
- Presentation skills demonstrated at TED Talks, World Economic Forum, or equivalent
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) for complex future-state modeling
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from AC/SCF or equivalent
