Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Develop future-state scenarios and mitigation strategies for systemic risks
- Present strategic frameworks to executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Build and lead a dedicated futurist research task force
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers and industry keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence domains
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio of published future-state analyses or scenario-planning projects
- Deep familiarity with emerging tech patent landscapes and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Strategic Foresight preferred
