Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ industry shifts
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and business leaders
- Produce actionable foresight reports and scenario-planning documents
- Collaborate with venture partners to identify acquisition targets and investment opportunities
- Represent company vision at global forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, R&D planning, or emerging tech consulting
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and scenario planning for 2020-2025
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, etc.)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
