Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, sociology, economics, and geopolitics to identify disruptive forces by 2026
- Develop and maintain scenario models mapping 5-10 year future states for key industries
- Design strategic frameworks to navigate emerging risks and opportunities in AI, biotech, and climate resilience
- Present future insights to executive stakeholders and translate complex data into compelling narratives
- Build and lead cross-functional innovation labs prototyping solutions for 2026 challenges
- Establish partnerships with futurist communities, academic institutions, and think tanks
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' reports and strategic recommendations for board review
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
