Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop forward-looking strategic roadmaps for product development and market positioning
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align corporate vision with emerging opportunities
- Build predictive models simulating long-term market dynamics and competitive scenarios
- Present compelling future-state narratives to stakeholders through data-driven storytelling
- Establish innovation pipelines for breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Drive cross-functional workshops to embed futurist thinking across organizational units
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend impact modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech stacks (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience advising Fortune 500 clients on future-proofing initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ long-range strategic frameworks implemented
