Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum computing, biotech, AI governance, and climate tech sectors
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps aligned with market shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-proofing into corporate strategy
- Curate and lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' exploring disruptive applications
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and innovation accelerators
- Quantify emerging market opportunities and risk mitigation frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial roadmaps
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning and probabilistic forecasting methodologies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Security clearance eligibility for sensitive research collaborations
