Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their disruptive potential by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical, economic, and climate-related shifts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future insights into actionable innovation pipelines
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and board members
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-ready strategies
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify partnership opportunities
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' reports with predictive analytics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience in presenting complex insights
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
