Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological and societal projections
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive forces and market opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging trends and ethical implications
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across organizational silos
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience with horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio of published futurist work or innovation frameworks
