Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026+ technology adoption and market disruption scenarios
- Lead cross-functional strategy sprints to translate foresight into actionable roadmaps
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring long-term strategic impact and innovation velocity
- Present future-state scenarios to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Author annual 'Horizon Report' on emerging paradigms and competitive landscapes
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with quarterly reallocation based on predictive signals
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for complex organizations
- Expertise in predictive analytics tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK, Gartner Pulse)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech convergence)
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or digital transformation trends
- Experience presenting to executive audiences across multiple industries
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP-V, causal layered analysis)
