Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling 2026-era solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government bodies for regulatory alignment
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive sustainability initiatives in tech lifecycle management
- Mentor junior futurists in systems thinking and scenario planning
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Futures Studies, or Systems Engineering
- 5+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on emerging tech adoption
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI ethics
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D funding from public/private sources
- Fluency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ executed technological paradigm shifts
