Responsibilities
- Develop integrated technology roadmaps for 2026, aligning quantum computing, neural interfaces, and sustainable energy systems
- Lead scenario planning workshops for climate-resilient infrastructure and decentralized AI networks
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-viable solutions including neuromorphic processors and synthetic biology applications
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive tech (quantum supremacy, AGI safety, carbon capture)
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members with clear ROI projections
- Build ecosystem partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Define ethical frameworks for 2026 autonomous systems and human-machine augmentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering with 10+ years in strategic tech planning
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in futures methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, technology forecasting)
- Deep understanding of 2026-relevant tech stacks: quantum machine learning, neurosymbolic AI, synthetic genomics
- Executive-level communication with ability to translate complex concepts into strategic imperatives
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals on future technologies
- Certification in Futures Studies (AFS) or equivalent foresight methodology
