- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 innovators
- Develop patent portfolios and IP protection strategies for breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor a team of 15+ engineers and futurists
- Conduct horizon-scanning for disruptive threats and opportunities
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 10+ years experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Proven track record leading $50M+ R&D initiatives
- Expertise in at least three 2026-relevant domains: AGI, quantum networking, or climate tech
- Strategic consulting background at McKinsey, BCG, or equivalent
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Experience scaling tech operations across 5+ global markets
