Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for autonomous systems, quantum computing applications, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies and geopolitical trends
- Design ethical frameworks for AI/ML implementations in regulated industries
- Present strategic briefings to stakeholders including venture partners and government agencies
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI tracking and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with academic institutions on next-gen R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in scaling technologies from concept to commercial deployment
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA/MSc/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year technology transformation
