Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in quantum AI and neurotech
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Design ethical frameworks for responsible deployment of transformative technologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking and innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of strategic planning experience
- Proven track record in forecasting technological disruptions (e.g., published in Nature/Science)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and technology roadmapping
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech ecosystems
