This position offers hybrid flexibility with 3 days/week in our state-of-the-art downtown Austin campus. You'll lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to incubate breakthrough solutions while representing our brand at global innovation forums.
Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps identifying disruptive forces in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and autonomous systems
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders to prepare for emerging market disruptions
- Author white papers on 2026 technological paradigms for industry publications and policy forums
- Manage a $5M innovation fund to prototype breakthrough technologies with partner startups
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and MIT Future Conventions as thought leadership speaker
- Mentor internal teams on foresight methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Establish strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and leading university research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or emerging tech topics (HBR, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with quantum computing or synthetic biology commercialization
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Track record of incubating technologies that achieved $100M+ market impact
- Deep network of relationships with futurist communities and tech pioneers
