Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year innovation roadmap targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating disruptive technologies
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with industry disruptors and research institutions
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech fusion)
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Establish KPIs for innovation impact and track ROI of experimental initiatives
- Mentor a team of future-focused specialists in emerging domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products or platforms
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, neurotech, or sustainable tech
- Experience with innovation frameworks (e.g., Lean Startup, Design Thinking 2.0)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic research circles
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field or demonstrable breakthrough innovations
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications or journals
