Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026-2030 technological horizons
- Develop and implement innovation frameworks for emerging tech adoption
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify disruptive startups
- Design ethical guidelines for AI/automation deployment in human-centric systems
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor teams in future-proofing methodologies and rapid prototyping
- Oversee $5M+ annual innovation budget allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product development, or innovation management
- Proven track record scaling emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI)
- Expertise in futures forecasting and scenario planning
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies)
- Experience with ethical AI governance frameworks
- Prior startup scaling or corporate venturing experience
