Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen digital ecosystems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market potential
- Partner with VPs of Engineering to integrate future-ready architecture into current products
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish industry partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in strategic foresight roles
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products (2018-2025)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for innovation portfolio valuation
- PhD or equivalent in technology futures, systems engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Proficiency in futures mapping tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
