- Develop and execute 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, IoT)
- Analyze emerging tech trends and competitive landscapes for strategic positioning
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation with corporate vision
- Present strategic insights to investors and board members quarterly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Exceptional analytical and presentation skills
