Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 tech roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, climate modeling)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and venture teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for disruptive technologies
- Design pilot programs for breakthrough solutions with real-world impact metrics
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present findings to C-suite and board using data-driven visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or emerging technology planning
- Proven track record in launching future-focused initiatives (2018-2025)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate AI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP) or equivalent experience
- Experience with scenario planning tools and trend analysis platforms
- Strong network in tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Boston, Austin)
