Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum processors with 10,000+ qubit stability
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving 99.999% fidelity for practical quantum applications
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Manage $2M annual R&D budget for quantum hardware experimentation
- Present findings at international quantum computing summits (e.g., Q2B, IEEE Quantum Week)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical HPC systems
- Experience leading quantum hardware projects with cryogenic systems below 10mK
- Expertise in topological quantum computing or photonic quantum networks
