Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for 2026+ horizon, analyzing quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Develop and implement scenario planning frameworks for global market disruptions
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations for executive stakeholders
- Coordinate with R&D teams to translate future-vision into innovation pipelines
- Represent company at World Economic Forum and futurist conferences
- Mentor junior futurists while building internal foresight capabilities
- Monitor geopolitical and climate risks to identify strategic inflection points
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech policy
- Proven track record of publishing in Journal of Futures Studies or equivalent
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change
- Portfolio of foresight projects with measurable business impact
