Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological disruptions
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging tech adoption (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Coordinate with R&D teams to align innovation with market opportunities
- Present foresight insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic and industry innovation leaders
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future technologies
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight or innovation strategy
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, AI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating trends into business opportunities
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic roadmapping
- Certification in Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio published futurist analysis required
