Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps through horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging domains
- Partner with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and M&A decisions
- Lead cross-functional 'FutureSprints' to prototype exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotech deployments
- Present quarterly disruption briefings to board and investors
- Build global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author Innovatech's annual 'State of 2026' industry forecast
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or technology consulting
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercial products/services
- Deep expertise in at least three exponential tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, neurotech)
- Executive experience with Fortune 500 or scale-up tech companies
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFTE) or equivalent
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Mastery of scenario planning and exponential technology roadmapping
- PhD or equivalent in emerging technology, futures studies, or related field
