Work in our state-of-the-art Austin hub alongside Nobel laureates, AI pioneers, and sustainability champions to transform theoretical concepts into market-ready innovations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps for quantum computing applications and carbon-neutral industrial solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams of futurists, engineers, and data scientists to prototype breakthrough technologies
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to integrate 2026-ready AI ethics frameworks and decentralized governance systems
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through federal grants and venture partnerships for emerging tech initiatives
- Drive patent development for at least 3 proprietary technologies targeting 2026 market gaps
- Represent FutureWorks at global innovation summits including World Economic Forum and TechCrunch Disrupt
- Mentor junior talent in foresight methodologies and exponential technology adoption strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record deploying quantum/AI solutions in regulated industries (healthcare, energy, finance)
- Expertise in futures methodologies (horizon scanning, scenario planning, technology roadmapping)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology; PhD preferred
- Certification in quantum computing fundamentals or sustainable systems design
- Published research in Nature/Science on exponential technology adoption
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants or EU Horizon funding for tech innovation
- Fluency in exponential growth modeling and systems thinking frameworks
