Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with industry partners
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends with disruptive potential
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $10M+ innovation budgets for future-focused projects
- Author thought leadership pieces published in MIT Tech Review and Wired
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (minimum 10 years experience)
- Proven track record of predicting and capitalizing on tech trends (cite 3+ major predictions)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, nanotech, etc.)
- Experience leading R&D teams of 15+ professionals
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong network with Silicon Valley VCs and academic institutions
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese preferred for global partnerships
