Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap for 2026-2030, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and assess their strategic implications
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech insights into corporate strategy
- Represent the company at global tech forums and thought leadership events
- Author white papers and thought leadership content on emerging tech trends
- Maintain competitive analysis against emerging tech startups and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product development with focus on emerging tech
- Proven track record of implementing futuristic technologies in commercial environments
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or biotech integration
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., CFTE) or innovation management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published author or frequent speaker at major tech conferences (TED, CES, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
