Responsibilities
- Forecast tech trends (2026-2030) through market analysis and scenario planning
- Design prototype architectures for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neurointerfaces)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and ethics teams
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and critical thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 3+ years in futurism/foresight roles
- Published thought leadership in emerging technologies (IEEE, ACM, or similar)
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or decentralized AI
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, or custom ML models)
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Track record of launching products with 10M+ users or $100M+ revenue impact
