Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026+ technology roadmaps, identifying disruptive innovations across AI, biotech, and space exploration
- Direct R&D initiatives for next-gen human-computer interfaces and quantum-secure communication systems
- Partner with UN agencies and Fortune 500 companies to develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
- Present future-tech forecasts to C-suite executives and government technology councils
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental projects with 10-year impact horizons
- Author industry-defining whitepapers on metaverse interoperability and neural interface standards
- Mentor a team of 15 futurists and engineers through quarterly technology scenario planning workshops
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven track record of forecasting market shifts (portfolio required)
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurism with peer-reviewed publications
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies: AGI development, synthetic biology, or quantum computing
- Certification in Scenario Planning from WFS or similar futurist institution
- Experience advising Fortune 100 CTOs on 5-10 year technology adoption curves
- Published author in MIT Technology Review or equivalent tier publication
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three commercially deployed future-tech innovations
