Responsibilities
- Forecast technology trends and market disruptions through quantitative analysis and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration by 2026
- Lead prototyping of experimental systems using cutting-edge frameworks and tools
- Collaborate with R&D teams to validate future-facing concepts through rapid iteration
- Present visionary insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Document innovation frameworks and publish thought leadership in emerging tech domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Experience with futures methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
- Strong background in prototyping with Python, TensorFlow, or equivalent frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published work in IEEE or similar peer-reviewed technology journals
