Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their market implications
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Drive R&D investment decisions based on future opportunity analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption and commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong data modeling and predictive analytics capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field preferred
