Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, biotech, AI) to develop 2026 strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Author white papers and patents for next-gen technologies
- Partner with Stanford/MIT research labs on collaborative projects
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M annual innovation budget for prototyping and experimentation
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend forecasting
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in tech strategy with proven 2025+ impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio of patented technologies or commercialized innovations
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese (for global collaboration)
