Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational goals
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to shape future business models
- Present futuristic technology insights to investors and stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers and foster an innovation culture
- Monitor global tech policy developments affecting future adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of converting futuristic concepts to commercial products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling skills
- Experience presenting complex tech concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance if required
