Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Lead research in quantum-resistant cryptography and next-gen AI frameworks
- Partner with C-suite to integrate futuristic tech into enterprise architecture
- Present innovation strategies to investors and board members quarterly
- Manage a $2M annual R&D budget for prototype development
- Author whitepapers on emerging tech trends for industry publications
- Mentor junior engineers in future-focused development methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong background in ethical AI development frameworks
- Public speaking at major tech conferences (AWS re:Invent, CES, etc.)
