Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market disruptions
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen innovations in AI, quantum, and biotech
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and investor communities
- Establish cross-functional innovation ecosystems with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Drive adoption of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Secure patents and intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or synthetic biology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
