Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify competitive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms and academic research institutions
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of forward-thinking experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurism
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and implementing successful innovation programs
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and competitive analysis
- Exceptional communication abilities for translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic roadmapping methodologies
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field preferred
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management a plus
