Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems and decision-making algorithms
- Lead cross-functional teams in auditing AI models for bias, fairness, and transparency
- Develop policy recommendations for regulatory compliance (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act) and industry standards
- Create educational programs for stakeholders on responsible AI development and deployment
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance and continuous improvement processes
- Represent the organization at global AI ethics forums and policy discussions
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging ethical challenges in AI deployment
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 7+ years of experience
- Proven expertise in AI ethics frameworks, algorithmic bias mitigation, and explainable AI techniques
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (US, EU, APAC)
- Experience developing enterprise-level governance policies for high-stakes AI systems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published research or thought leadership in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology governance
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams in fast-paced environments
