Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI models.
- Develop governance protocols for bias mitigation, transparency, and accountability in AI deployments.
- Lead cross-functional task forces including engineers, legal, and product teams to align AI initiatives with ethical standards.
- Monitor global regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights) and adapt compliance strategies.
- Conduct algorithmic audits and risk assessments for high-impact AI systems.
- Establish stakeholder engagement programs for public consultation on AI ethics.
- Drive research on emerging ethical challenges in quantum computing and neuromorphic systems.
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years in AI governance.
- Proven experience implementing ethical AI frameworks in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, or autonomous systems).
- Deep expertise in global AI regulations and standards bodies (ISO/IEC, NIST, IEEE).
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Published research on algorithmic bias, explainability, or moral philosophy in AI.
- Experience leading cross-organizational ethics committees or working groups.
- Proficiency in AI development lifecycle and model interpretability tools (SHAP, LIME).
