Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST RMF, and emerging 2026 regulations
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for generative AI systems using advanced tooling
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering, legal, and product teams
- Design transparent explainability protocols for high-stakes AI deployments
- Create audit trails for AI decision-making processes ensuring regulatory compliance
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in product roadmaps and stakeholder communications
- Monitor global AI regulatory trends and update governance protocols proactively
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, governance, or responsible tech roles
- Deep expertise in global AI regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST, etc.)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Experience with AI explainability techniques (SHAP, LIME, counterfactuals)
- Strong policy writing skills demonstrated in published frameworks or whitepapers
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., EAG, CSEP) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethics to technical/non-technical audiences
